| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Wooden set features a wooden knife and seven pieces of "sliceable" fruit that can be cut into a total of 17 pieces. Food makes a fun "CRUNCH" sound when sliced. With so many pieces, it?s also a great way to introduce the concepts of part, whole and fractions. 18 pieces in all. Measurements: 9" x 7" x 2.7".

Quality Toy for the Toddler December 8, 2007 C. Hanny (Cranberry Twp. PA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Excellent toy for the toddler in your life and a fun one for Mom and Dad to join in. My Grandson just loves using the "knife" to cut the fruit and the crunch it makes as he is cutting just adds to the fun.
Love it! Highly entertaining and educational at the same time. April 20, 2008 HillyGilly (Wisconsin, USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
My son (age 2) loves to "cut" and loves fruit, so this product was a natural choice. He has had it for more than a month and still pulls it out to play daily. I also like that it's more durable than lots of play food so our dog can't chew it up. I plan to get more Melissa and Doug food for him in the future!
A cut above November 14, 2008 Nikki (Massachusetts) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is a great toy, it teaches kids valuable skills while they play. Thay learn about cutting, using hand eye coordination and how to put things back together. It is very durable, it has held up even with all the abuse it takes from my 5 kids.
Great for learning! March 23, 2009 Sarah R. Symonds (Wilkes Barre, PA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My almost 2-year-old daughter just received this for her birthday. It's great for her to learn more about different fruits, counting, colors, and cutting! She's not so coordinated with the cutting part yet but she tries. The fruit pieces are great quality and see them NOT chipping or the paint wearing off. I got her the sushi set for her upcoming birthday so we can't wait to try that out!
Great toy May 18, 2009 baltobalto (NYC) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My 16 month-old son took to this right away! He loves to match the peices of the fruit and then 'cut' them (with a little help from me).
