| Customer Reviews: I love Plan Toys! September 10, 2009 Lauren Denise Ragsac 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
With PlanToys, you get what you pay for--quality. The barn is no exception. It's aesthetically pleasing and beautifully made and with just enough simplicity to make room for imagination without being boring. My only issue is the roof pieces--they fall off too easily. Another reviewer also made this complaint, but I just glued those pieces on and you can still easily access the loft. I also ordered the farm animals and they are really cute, although I wish they had articulating legs. My 2 year old son loves playing with both the barn and the animals.
Kids like it, roof is annoying, Plan Toys Parking Lot is better May 11, 2009 Careful Researcher (Northern California) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Title says it all. Cute, but the roof is not well attached and slides off if kids even bump it...I suppose the idea is for the kids to play with the roof off, but then why include it at all? Was just frustrating for our 2-year-old, until eventually the roof pieces got lost wherever bits of toys go to when they disappear. The Plan Parking Lot is awesome, many more hours of play by both our 2-yr-old son and 5-yr-old daughter (thanks to the cool working elevator).
a little boring for the kids January 15, 2010 W. Oliveras (california) i knew my son who is 20 months would love a barn, but i got caught up in quality and aesthetics more than what he would truly enjoy. he loves the old school fisher price barn that has lots of little compartment, stalls and such to hide the animals. he also loves the barns that make noise. this, looks great and the quality is wonderful, but its pretty much just a square box with a shelf. the pulley that goes up and down is too advanced for him so i didn't put in on, but even that would get boring after a while. i would suggest you spend (less) money on a classic plastic one with lots of colors and noises and all that jazz. because thats what kids love. i hope he likes this as he gets older and can use his imagination more, but until then, im keeping my eyes open at the thrift shop for an old school classic barn. hope this helps.
