This was an unexpectedly great purchase, with wonderful detail, smooth-working parts and ample room for play and lodging of the horses and other animals! I reviewed and shopped online scrupulously for several hours, until I selected this Fold-and-Go Mini Barn (as well as the Fold-and-Go Mini Stable). I bought this and the mini stable to go with the Schleich horses and other like-sized Schleich animals we've gifted to a 6 year old granddaughter. The barn (as well as the stable) was a hit! I also added a section of Melissa and Doug wooden articulating fence (about 3 feet long)to go with it; though it's supposed to be sized for the larger horses, it was also a real pleaser, working well for these animals and this barn and the stable! (She decided to paint all the wooden articulating fencing barn red, and that actually turned out very nicely; just dilute the paint -- we used artists' acrylic -- so fencing still moves!)

I ordered this for my granddaughter's second birthday. She loves it. My daughter says they have to play "barn" four or five times a day. We were there for Thanksgiving and she showed grandma the barn and animals. She is an "outdoor girl" and loves the barn and animals.

My granddaughter's 4th birthday - she asked for a horse and a cow and a barn. I was so relieved when her mom said "toys - not real". Found this and it turned out perfect. Everything she wanted in one product!! She loves it, carries it around and plays for hours with it. She is not a quiet child and is rough on her things but this really is great for her. Gives her hours of play at a time without becoming bored. Recommend highly.

My son and I saw this toy at a local dollhouse store, and I was very impressed with how well it is built. I loved how small it is, perfect to carry around, and won't take up a ton of space. The price on Amazon is quite a bit less then what I have seen it for in stores. I will probably be buying this for him for christmas. I definately recommend it.

We gave this to our two year old grandson for Christmas and it was a hit! He is so into cars and trains, but he loves playing with the animals in the barn. This toy is built to last...a rarity in this day and age.
